Blue Mountain Health System and the Carbon County Area Agency on Aging will co-host the Annual Senior Health and Information Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Lehighton Recreation Center at 243 S. Eighth St., Lehighton.

Free health screenings will be offered, including cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, depression and pulse oximetry. Blue Mountain Health System will offer free flu vaccines to people who are 18 and older (bring along a picture ID card and insurance card; insurances will be billed). The uninsured are eligible to receive a flu shot. Free chair massages will be available.Twelve departments from Blue Mountain Health System and 42 other health and social organizations in Carbon and surrounding counties will be offering door prizes, goodies, education and information relevant to people 55 and older.There is no charge to attend and preregistration is not required.
