A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a crash in Lehigh County at 3:37 p.m. on Oct. 29.

State police at Fogelsville said Richard W. Mairose, 63, of New Ringgold, was driving a 2005 Ford Ranger pickup northbound on Route 309 in Lynn Township when he lost consciousness. This caused the truck to travel from the right lane onto the east embankment.The truck traveled up the embankment with the front right bumper striking a boulder at the top. Upon impact with the boulder the truck traveled clockwise with its front bumper facing north and its rear bumper facing south.The truck then rolled down the embankment, rolling over once before coming to rest on its four wheels in the northbound lane.Mairose was injured and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest by Northwestern ambulance. Troopers said he sustained a minor injury. Mairose was cited for the crash, troopers said.
