Gov. Tom Corbett and his wife Susan made a campaign stop at the Lehighton American Legion Post, Saturday.

About 100 supporters greeted them including State Representatives Doyle Heffley and Jerry Knowles and Carbon County Commissioner Thomas Gerhard.

Representatives of the Carbon County Republican Party including GOP chairman Jeremy Glaush also were present.

Corbett stood in the Legion parking lot and addressed the gathering, thanking them for his support and reviewing a list of his accomplishments.

He then went inside the Legion and chatted with patrons.

He spent about 45 minutes in Lehighton talking with supporters.

He is seeking re-election for Pennsylvania Governor in Tuesday's election.
