A York County driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash along Interstate 81 in Butler Township, Schuylkill County, on Monday.

State police at Frackville said Robert J. Harpster, 58, of Lewisberry, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox northbound at 9:40 p.m., when a deer entered the road in front of him. He was unable to avoid the animal and struck it with the front end.Harpster was not injured but damages to the vehicle were disabling, troopers said.
