A Tresckow man has been charged by McAdoo police following a vehicle stop on Oct. 12.
Police on patrol at 2:14 a.m. saw a vehicle traveling on East Blaine Street, weaving back and forth across the double yellow lines, and initiating a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Francis Zapotocky Jr., 45. He was given and failed field sobriety tests and was then transported for blood testing.The blood tests show Zapotocky had a blood-alcohol content of 0.221 percent, almost three times the legal limit of 0.08.He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and a summary traffic offense.
