McAdoo police have cited Larry Summers, 20, of Hazleton, following a traffic stop on Sept. 17.
Police observed Summers driving a vehicle that had a middle brake light out. While speaking with the driver, the officer noted a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car and asked if the driver had been smoking. Summers admitted to smoking marijuana about two hours earlier.He was given and failed field sobriety tests, then taken for blood work. Blood tests results came back positive for marijuana.He was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance as well as a summary traffic offense.
