Tamaqua and Blue Mountain recently met in a battle of undefeated middle school football teams.

Nate Boyle added 68 yards receiving and also intercepted a pair of passes.Blue Mountain (7-0-1) threatened late in the game but Boyle intercepted a pass in the end zone with :02 remaining.On the final play, Knoblauch hit Boyle with pass. Boyle raced into Eagles territory before latteraling the ball to Breiner, who was tackled by the last Blue Mountain defender at the 17-yard line.
