State police at Frackville reported on three crashes investigated by troopers on Schuylkill County roads over the past weekend.
A one-vehicle crash occurred at 1:25 p.m. on Friday along Brockton Mountain Road in Ryan Township. Troopers said Dominic Andrew Brack, 20, of Mahanoy City, was driving a 1997 Volkswagen Jetta southbound when he lost control while negotiating a left curve.The Jetta traveled off the west berm and struck a tree, where it came to rest. Brack was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.Troopers cited Brack for the crash.A one-vehicle crash was reported at 7:43 a.m. on Saturday along Route 443 in East Brunswick Township. Mary Imschweiler, 42, of Pottsville, was driving a 2004 Ford E350 truck eastbound when she became distracted. The truck veered off the road and struck a large tree along the south berm.Imschweiler was injured and taken by New Ringgold ambulance to the Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street, Pottsville. Troopers said Imschweiler will be cited for the crash.A third one-vehicle crash was reported at 1:40 p.m. on Friday along Interstate 81 in Kline Township. Troopers said Ronald Sherbaum, 52, of Millville, Columbia County, was driving a 2013 Kia Soul southbound when he encountered a tire rolling across the road in front of him. He struck the tire with the front end of the Soul, causing disabling damages. Sherbaum was not injured.
