According to scanner reports this morning, Weatherly police were asked to assist Schuylkill County in stopping a black Yamaha sport motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed along Ben Titus Road in Rush Township.

Weatherly police radioed into the Carbon County Communications Center that they had sight of the bike and it was "going like a rocket," and that they would not pursue.The Communications Center then reported to Rush Township that neither Weatherly nor Nesquehoning would be involved in the stop.
