State police at Fern Ridge are looking for the owner of a dirt bike that was found.

Troopers said a blue, 2008 Yamaha YZ125 dirt bike/off road motorcycle was found along the road in the area of 236 Merwinsburg Road, in Chestnuthill Township on Oct. 17 at 4:50 p.m.The bike had not been reported as stolen as yet, and it is possible that it was stolen. The bike did not have a registration plate, however, a vehicle identification number was located and was run through PennDOT records with negative results.Troopers said the bike appears to have some motor work and an after-market graphic kit on it. If anyone has information concerning the bike, they may call troopers at 570-646-2271.
