Shortly before 5 p.m. Friday, West Penn Township and Tamaqua police were dispatched to the intersection of Route 443 and Mush Dahl Road in the village of Clamtown. There they discovered a woman in a car who suffered head trauma from an assualt. Thevictim was treated at the scene by member of the Penn Mahoningambulance and Lehighton paramedics and then transported to a trauma center.
