Nesquehoning police reported on two retail theft arrests.

On Tuesday Chief Sean Smith was called to the Valero service station at 1 Industrial Complex for a retail theft.Thomas Tessitore, 34 Hunter St., Tamaqua, was cited for taking $5 worth of merchandise from the store a turkey wrapOn Wednesday, at 1:58 p.m., Smith was dispatched to Redner's Warehouse Market for a theft.Aaron J. Scott Jr., of 423 North St., Lehighton, was arrested. A routine check revealed that Scott was wanted on an active bench warrant out of Lehigh County for drug violations. He was placed in the county prison.
