Author Jeff Davis of Jim Thorpe, (writing as J.L. Davis), will be signing copies of his latest novel "CRUDE" at 6 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble in Wilkes-Barre at the Arena Hub.

"CRUDE" is a psychological suspense thriller, in which Eddie Slate, a normal everyday guy, finds himself spiraling into an apocalyptic world where the only rule for survival is self-preservation after the global oil supply becomes abruptly exhausted."CRUDE" is Davis' second novel, the first is a satire titled "Nesting with the Loons."
