No one was injured when a pickup struck this vacant houseat 326 Lincoln St. in Tamaqua at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the truck's driver swerved to avoid a mini bus owned by Lech Transportation, which was traveling in the opposite direction on the narrow street. The home is owned by Tom and Maureen Bartasavage of Summit Hill. Tamaqua Borough officials checked the building's structural integrity once the truck was removed by Hope's Towing.
