Lehigh Carbon Community College will offer a free college prep course on Nov. 1 for students in ninth, 10th and 11th grades whose parents or guardians are from Carbon County.

The program will begin at 10 a.m. at the LCCC Jim Thorpe campus, 1100 Center St.Following introductions and information about academics and test-taking, guests will board a bus for the college's main campus on Route 309 in Schnecksville.After lunch, at 12:15 p.m., there will be a campus tour and a bus trip back to Jim Thorpe, arriving at LCCC in Carbon County at 2:30 p.m.A parent or guardian is required to accompany the student.For more information or to register, contact Heather Mullen at 570-669-7010 or
