October 22, 1983 Tom Tracy carries 15 times for 104 yards and a touchdown and Tamauqa's defense turns in a stellar performance as the Blue Raiders blank Panther Valley, 28-0. Tracy opens the scoring in the second quarter with a 48-yard TD run. The winners, coached by Tom Bonner, extend their lead when Ron Heckler blocks a punt and Garth Lakitsky recovers it and runs five yards for a touchdown. The Raiders' defense forces four turnovers in the contest and allows just four first downs. Tamaqua also receives short TD runs from Rick Nunemacher and Howie Miller.
