There is a crusade to eliminate breast cancer during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

District 2879 of Avon Products is raising funds and awareness through a Tricky Tray event Wednesday at the Polk Township Fire Hall, Route 209 in Kresgeville. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the drawing starts at 7 p.m. Admission is free.Prizes are donated from many of the representatives and local businesses. A bake sale will be held by the representatives.Over the course of 11 years, District 2879 has raised over $27,000 in funds for the Avon Breast Cancer Foundation.For more information:
