Tamaqua police have cited Robert W. Fredericks, 32, of 304 W. Spruce St., Tamaqua, after a shoplifting incident on Sept. 25.

According to police, Fredericks was in Fegley's Mini Mart, 32-34 Center St., at 11:02 a.m. At one point he placed a container of motor oil under his shirt, which was witnessed by an employee and caught on surveillance video.He was charged with a misdemeanor count of retail theft as this was his second offense.
