Nine students from Our Lady of the Angels Academy in Lansford were recently named Students of the Month for September. They were selected because they exhibited the virtue of responsibility.

The following are quotes from each student.Kindergarten, Jack Jewells: "I am helpful and I listen to my teacher."First grade, Delaney Gombert: "I was being responsible."Second grade, Connor Roetz: "I was chosen as Student of the Month because of my good grades and my respect for others."Third grade, Aleck Jewells: "I showed responsibility by finishing my schoolwork on time. I also listen to and follow my teacher's directions."Fourth grade, Valerie Blasko: "I am responsible when I watch my younger brother."Fifth grade, Brayden Feisel: "I listen to my teacher. I get all my schoolwork done on time. I try to do the best I can every day."Sixth grade, Jacob Trubilla: "I have my work done on time and if I'm asked to do something I will do it. If you need something, you can count on me."Seventh grade, Katrina Horvath: "I am responsible. I am in a lot of activities and even though I have a busy schedule I know school comes first. I am also very organized with my studies."Eighth grade, Keith McCall: "I always complete my assignments in and out of school. I take care of the school and my own personal belongings."
