Jerome Roberts, 48, of 843 Oak Drive, Deltona, Florida, was cited by Tamaqua police after he was found wandering the streets in an intoxicated condition on Sept. 27.

At 6:07 p.m. police received a report of a suspicious person in the 100 block of West Rowe Street. The man was stumbling around, asking people where he could buy drugs.Officers arrived and found Roberts, who had a strong odor of alcohol on his person.Initially, Roberts said he was just "taking in the scenery," but then said he was lost. He denied asking people about drugs, saying he was asking for directions.He was cited for public drunkenness.
