The Democratic Party's strength in voter registration plurality lies in 11 of the 12 boroughs in Carbon County.

According to the latest voter registration certification after the deadline to register on Oct. 6 to vote this fall, the party has 3,803 more voters than the Republican Party, including advantages in nearly 100 percent of the boroughs.The voter rolls show the Democrats have the plurality in Beaver Meadows, Bowmanstown, East Side, Jim Thorpe, Lansford, Lehighton, Nesquehoning, Palmerton, Parryville, Summit Hill and Weissport.Weatherly is the only borough in which the Republicans have the voter registration edge.The breakdown of registered voters in the county's 12 boroughs by election district is as follows:Beaver Meadows Borough Blank, 2;
