State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary at a Carbon County property.

A shed on the property at 228 Canal St., Franklin Township, was entered. Once inside the criminals removed about 100 gallons of fuel oil.The property is owned by Thomas Phillip Maruschak, 71, of Coaldale, troopers said. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 610-681-1850.
