The Lehighton Planning Commission took no formal action on a site development plan for the proposed Riverside Mall shopping center near the downtown section of Lehighton.

The mall, if constructed, will be erected at the Lehighton and Mahoning Township boundaries at the area known locally as the Packerton Yards.It was noted the site development plan can't be approved until subdivision plans for the tract receive formal approval from both Lehighton and Mahoning Township officials.
