Monroe break-ins investigated

State police at Lehighton reported investigating several burglaries in Monroe County.

A break-in occurred at 123 Dogwood Lane in Kunkletown. A window was broken to gain entry. Nothing was taken and there was no damage other than the window, troopers said. The home is owned by Betty Anne Westover, 65, of Horsham, Montgomery County. The incident occurred sometime between April 15 and Sept. 15.A burglary occurred at the residence of Ian Scott Carroll, 308 Gower Road, Kunkletown. Removed from the home was a washer, dryer, and stove. The incident occurred sometime between Sept. 14 and 21.A home at 102 Corine Way, Saylorsburg, occurred sometime between Sept. 19 and 24. Entry was gained through a rear door. Removed was copper and aluminum. The home is owned by Federal National Mortgage Association.A shed on the property of Diane Mosconi, 66, of 126 Friendship Road, Kunkletown, was entered. Removed was a rototiller, two weed whackers, gas push mower and a dump cart. The incident was reported at 5:08 p.m. on Sept. 27.The residence of Vincent and Michele Rubino, located at 2126 Village Road, Effort, was entered. Entry was gained by crawling through a skylight in an upstairs bedroom. Removed was a jig saw and th drill. Entry occurred sometime between Aug. 12 and Oct. 3.A vacant home at 509 Pheasant Road, Saylorsburg, was entered through a basement Bilco door. Nothing was apparently taken. The entry was reported on Oct. 9. The home is owned by Collin Serfass.Anyone with information on any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 610-681-1850.
