Senior citizens canlearn how to spot scams at a session planned from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 30 at the Mahanoy City Senior Community Center, 138 W. Center St.

The event will feature presentations on awareness and avoidance of investment fraud, and an investment fraud bingo game with prizes.It also includes a free continental breakfast.Speakers include Schuylkill County District Attorney Christine Holman, Chief Detective Dolly Malec, and a representative from the state Office of the Attorney General.Registration is required. at 888-837-4235.
