Walkers depart the American Legion Post 987 in Gilbert on Wednesday night during the West End Pink Light Walk. The annual event is aimed at raising breast cancer awareness. Many of the walkers wore pink shirts in honor of Deana Burger, co-owner of Beltzville Bar and Grill, who battled breast cancer.
