State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a one-car crash at 1:17 a.m. Thursday in Penn Forest Township.

In that incident, Colton GoGoy, 24, of Newton lost control of his 2008 BMW on a curve on Stoney Mountain Road, hit a tree, and fled. It is unknown if GoGoy suffered any injuries. He was charged in the incident.Police are also investigating a Monroe County incident in which someone used a Brodheadsville woman's credit card to make five purchases totaling $168.68 at a Winn-Dixie store in Florida.The fraud happened at 11 a.m. Thursday.Other cases include criminal mischief in which 40 feet of chain link fence was damaged between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. Sept. 30 in Jackson Township.
