The 11th West End Pink Light Walk will take place Wednesday at the American Legion Post 987 in Gilbert.

The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the walk begins at 6:30 p.m. The walk will go south on Route 209 to the Pencor Building where there will be a ceremony.There will be light refreshments and prizes for the most pink.October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The purpose of the walk is to raise awareness of breast cancer.Donations received will be used for awareness programs or for nonprofits that work with breast cancer.For more information call Nancy Dougherty 570-656-1616.
