The Carbon County Area Agency on Aging will hold Medicare annual open enrollment sessions at various locations this month.

APPRISE is a free health insurance counseling program designed to help Pennsylvanians with understanding and making changes to Medicare health plans during the annual enrollment period.People will have an opportunity to receive personalized counseling from APPRISE Medicare trained counselors during one of these Medicare Annual Open enrollment sessions. To schedule an appointment, call 610-824-7830 or 800-441-1315.Open enrollment sessions will take place at the following locations:• Lehighton Senior Center, 243 S. Eighth St., Lehighton. Every Monday from Oct. 20 to Nov. 24, as well as Dec. 1 and 4.• Jim Thorpe/Penn Kidder Senior Center, 995 Route 903. Every Wednesday from Oct. 15 to Dec. 3. Also Saturday, Nov. 15.• Panther Valley Public Library, 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford. Every Wednesday from Oct. 15 to Dec. 3 except Nov. 26.• Palmerton Library, 402 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Every Thursday from Oct. 16 to Nov. 20.• Weatherly Senior Center, 335 Third St., Weatherly. Oct. 28, Nov. 11, Dec. 2.
