October 2, 1992 Kyle Woodward rushes for 170 yards on 26 carries and scores the game-winning touchdown with 1:39 left to play as Tamaqua registers a 14-7 victory over Elco. The Blue Raiders, coached by assistant Mike Bulino (filling in for mentor George Yaniger who had emergency foot surgery) trail by a point before driving 85 yards on their final possession to pull out the win. Woodward caps the march with a three-yard TD run. Tamaqua's other scores comes on an 18-yard pass from Geoff Kruczek to Francis Hill.
