David A. Domchek, 43, of Northampton, sustained moderate injuries in a motorcycle crash at 1:04 p.m. Sept. 26 on Lower Smith Gap Road in Eldred Township.

He was transported to St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill.State police said he was operating a 2008 Harley-Davidson XL Sport eastbound when he over-negotiated a turn and the front wheel of the cycle entered a grassy area on the east shoulder of the roadway. This caused Domchek to lose control of the cycle, which continued to travel into the grassy area on the east shoulder of the roadway for approximately 50 feet before coming to rest.Police said Domchek was cited for causing the accident.The Wind Gap and Central Pocono ambulances responded.
