The Blue Shamrock Golf Club will be host to a wine tasting mixer at 5 p.m. today. The event is open to the public.

The event is being coordinated by the Realtors Political Action Committee of the Carbon County Association of Realtors. Galen Glen's award winning wines will be featured at the event.The cost is $20 a person, which includes six wine tastings and a food pairing with each wine. Tickets will be available at the door.Doors will open at 5 p.m. and feature the wine event sponsors. The event will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. A cash bar will be available.Blue Shamrock Golf Club is the former Blue Ridge Country Club and is located at 2230 Fireline Road, Palmerton.
