A McAdoo woman has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop in McAdoo on Aug. 17.

McAdoo Police stopped Kelly Gilhool, 37, for driving a vehicle with nonworking license plate lights. She appeared to be intoxicated, and a records check indicated her driver's license had been suspended for a previous DUI. She was taken to a hospital for blood work. The results indicate she had a blood-alcohol content of 0.27 percent, along with the presence of the drug alprazolam in her system.She was charged with two counts of DUI and two traffic offenses.
