Two drivers are facing charges following two separate vehicle stops by state police at Fern Ridge along Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township.
Troopers said Durrell Johnson, 23, of Easton, was stopped at 8:09 p.m. on Aug. 27. A consent search was conducted of the vehicle and a small amount of marijuana was found. He was charge with a drug count.At 4:33 p.m. on Aug. 28, Joel Medina, 29, of Cranston, Rhode Island, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was arrested for driving under the influence. He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville, troopers said.
