Lehigh Carbon Community College students in the JobTrakPA program will participate in National Manufacturing Day on Friday with a visit to ATAS International, a leading manufacturer of metal systems for commercial and residential buildings offering sustainable building envelope technology.

The students and their manufacturing instructor will tour the plant, allowing the students to see their skill training in operation in the workplace, understand employment opportunities and network with people in the field.LCCC's JobTrakPA team works with the local manufacturers in the area, supporting their need to develop a local, rich talent pool for skilled electro-mechanical technicians.The JobTrakPA staff works closely with companies to create customized training programs unique to each company's needs.
