An Alabama driver escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 4:55 p.m. Thursday along Route 61 in Deer Lake Borough, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Paula J. Bozeman, 45, of Hartford, was driving a 2002 Ford F350 truck southbound when the vehicle drifted off the road and struck a ditch. The ditch caused the rear end of the truck to jump.Troopers said Bozeman was unable to explain the sudden change in direction and why the truck drifted off the road.
