State police at Lehighton reported they are investigating two more burglaries at area residences.
The first occurred at a home at 123 Dogwood Lane in Kunkletown. A window was broken to gain entry. Troopers said nothing was apparently taken and there was no damage done inside the property.The incident occurred sometime between April 15 and Sept. 15. The property is owned by Betty Anne Westover, 65, of Horsham, Montgomery County.The second entry occurred at 2300 Spruce Hollow Road in Palmerton.A barn on the property was entered sometime between 6:30 p.m. Sept. 23 and noon Sept. 24. A Coleman 5k watt generator and a Homelite chain saw were removed. The property owner was identified as an 81-year-old female.Anyone with information concerning either break-in is asked to call troopers at 610-681-1850.
