There is just over a week left to submit your recipe for the 27th annual Times News Cookbook and Recipe Contest.

This year's categories include Tailgating, Main Dish & Sides, Holiday Cookies and Candy, Desserts, Edible Gifts, and Beverages and Smoothies.A winner will be chosen in each category. Those winners will be asked to re-create their winning recipes for a final judging at the Times News office in Mahoning Township, where a panel of judges will determine our grand prize winner.Deadline for recipes is 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5.
