White House bound

Officials from the White House made the trip to Mahoning Township to find the official Christmas tree at the Crystal Spring Tree Farm.

After a selection process that took more than an hour, the three officials from the White House selected a 19 1/2-foot concolor fir to be the official White House Christmas Tree this year.This is the fourth time since 2006 that Crystal Spring Tree Farm is supplying the official White House Christmas Tree.Chris Botek pointed out that in 2010, when the White House representatives came to the farm, he predicted that they would eventually choose the tree that was chosen as the official White House Christmas tree.
