Izzo opens the scoring with a 31-yard run in the second quarter and extends the advantage with a 28-yard sprint to the end zone. The Colts, coached by Stan Dick (Dakosty), also receive a six-yard TD pass from Mike Makovec to Brian Rafferty. Marian's defense forces five turnovers in the contest, one a fumble recovered in the end zone for a touchdown by Andy Tacelosky. Joe Richards adds an interception and fumble recovery.
