Ambush suspect was in my documentary

CANADENSIS, Pa. (AP) - A filmmaker says the survivalist accused of ambushing a state police barracks in northeastern Pennsylvania appears in an upcoming documentary about Vietnam War re-enactors.

NBC's "Today" aired footage from a documentary called "Vietnam Appreciation Day." The clip shows 31-year-old Eric Frein (freen) talking about the difficult terrain where one of the re-enactments took place.

In excerpts aired by the network, Frein identifies himself by name and says the re-enactment was "about teaching the public and showing the equipment that was used, talking about the history of it all."

Director Patrick Bresnan tells The Associated Press that he last saw Frein in 2011.

Hundreds of law enforcements officials are looking for Frein, charged with killing a state police corporal and wounded a trooper on Sept. 12. He's believed to be hiding out in the woods around his parents' house.
