The Panthers, coached by Rich Davidyock, gain a lead in the second quarter when Andy Pero registers a safety with a tackle in the end zone. John Cipko reaches the end zone on a 7-yard run while Dan Gould adds a 2-yard score. Pete Radocha leads the winners with 86 yards rushing while Gould finishes with 81. The Bombers' two TDs come on runs by Gene Roberts and Roger Christman.
