Summit Hill business cited by PLCB

The Mansion House at Summit Hill, LLC, 271 W. Ludlow St., Summit Hill, has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board for violating the state liquor code.

Officials said the business was issued a citation on Sept. 8. The board said from July 6 through 23, the business failed to have its board-approved manager complete Responsible Alcohol Management Program training within 180 days of the board's approval of the appointment.The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50-1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
