A Tamaqua woman was cited following a shoplifting incident at Boyer's Food Market, 210 Cedar St., on Sept. 8.

Megan Hill, 24, of 87 Skyline Drive, reportedly entered the store before 1 p.m. and began placing items into a zippered bag. When she saw store personnel watching her she began placing the items from the bag on to the shelves. Store personnel were paying attention to Hill's shopping habits as she had been caught shoplifting the previous week.She was cited for disorderly conduct due to the commotion she caused when police arrived. She was also warned to stay out of the store and will receive written communication about staying out of the store or being arrested for defiant trespass.
