September 13, 1968 Norm Frey scrambles for an eight-yard touchdown run with 52 seconds left to play to lift Lehighton to a 25-20 upset win over Pen Argyl. The Indians, who give Jim Wentz his first win as head coach, trail by seven entering the fourth quarter. Frey's 59-yard scoring run midway through the frame brings Lehighton within a point and sets up the dramatic finish. Frey, who intercepts a pass and recovers a fumble on defense, adds two TD passes. He hits Monroe Berger with a 64-yard strike and connects with Bruce Rehrig for another score.
