Deanna M. Weaver, 29, of Myerstown, sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 1:47 p.m. Wednesday on Route 183 in Wayne Township, according to state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks.

Police said she was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier southbound in the right lane of traffic when the vehicle entered the passing lane in an attempt to pass a truck tractor. The left rear of the tractor struck the left front of the car.The rig was operated by Leo L. Schechter, 51, of Hewitt, New Jersey, who was uninjured.Police said in an attempt to regain control of the Cavalier, Weaver swerved to the left causing the vehicle to turn 180 degrees and strike an embankment.Police said Weaver was cited for careless driving.
