Jim Thorpe man arrested in Lansford

Glenn Vosburgh, 27, of 672 S. Chestnut St., Jim Thorpe, faces charges from an incident that happened in the 100 block of West Patterson Street, Lansford.

He is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and disorderly conduct. He remains in Carbon County prison under $2,500 percentage bail.According to an affidavit of probable cause filed by officer Joseph Reis with District Judge Casimir Kosciolek of Lansford, here's what happened:Reis had seen Vosburgh walking in the area and knew there was a warrant out for his arrest. He took Vosburgh into custody.Vosburgh was searched at the police station, and police found two needles and a Xanax pill. Vosburgh became angry and started to yell and cause a disturbance. Reis called for other officers to help. Vosburgh accused Reis of planting the pill, but admitted the needles were his and that he used them to inject heroin.
