A Stroudsburg male will not face criminal charges after paying $13.67 for items he allegedly stole from Shop-Rite in Brodheadsville.

State police at Fern Ridge did not name the man, but said he was caught on video surveillance taking two tubes of toothpaste from their boxes and putting them in his pocket at 11:10 a.m. on Aug. 18.He also reportedly ate a bag of Frito chips while in the store and did not pay for either the snack or the toothpaste before leaving.
