State police at Frackville reported on two driving under the influence arrests made by troopers, both occurring on Aug. 31, at a DUI checkpoint operation in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Richard J. Crisp, 28, of Freeland, was stopped at 1:20 a.m. at the checkpoint along Route 924 (Gold Star Highway), in Shenandoah. He showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. He was given a blood test at the scene which showed him over the legal limit of 0.08 BAC. Charges will be filed.Daniel A. Lentes, 25 of Ashland, entered the checkpoint at 2:10 a.m. and was found under the influence. He also failed field sobriety tests and submitted to a blood test, which showed him over the legal limit.
