A Schuylkill County driver ran a red light and struck another vehicle. The crash occurred at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Route 61 and Seven Stars Road in North Manheim Township.

Troopers said Corey T. Umberger, 25, of Tower City, was driving a 1995 Mazda B2300 southbound on 61 and failed to stop for a steady red light at the intersection. Carlos X. Villarreal, 62, of Ashland, driving a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, was exiting the Cressona Mall on Seven Stars Road when his vehicle was struck on the right front end by the Mazda.No one was injured. Troopers cited Umberger for the traffic light violation.
